Who is Blair Lent?

Blair Lent

(born 1930). The American Library Association awarded Blair Lent the 1973 Caldecott Medal for his illustrations to The Funny Little Woman (1972), a Japanese folktale retold by Arlene Mosel. Although this book and some of his others contain pen-and-ink line drawings and full-color paintings, many of his publications feature prints from cardboard cuts.
