I can only speak for Lutherans because I was raised as one, but Lutherans are protestant and they do celebrate Lent (although probably not in the same way Catholics celebrate it). At my childhood church I believe they changed the color of the altar cloths and the pastor%26#039;s stole to white and the lessons and sermons started relating to Lent. We went to special services every Wednesday night during Lent and during Holy Week, well, we might as well just have camped in the church parking lot since we were there all the time anyway.

Lent is from the Catholic religion.|||NOPE|||Yes, although it isn%26#039;t really a celebration. We use Lent as a time for reflection and re-dedication. I think many Protestants choose to give something up for Lent (and it%26#039;s not necessarily meat on Fridays), but it isn%26#039;t an organized thing like it is in Catholicism.
