From a atheist viewpoint, I%26#039;d say Ramadan.
One of my friends practices this, and boy does it take alot of willpower to not eat or drink until sundown. I feel sorry for her during lunch x]

I am a Muslim, and do Ramadan every year. I get really thirsty throughout the day and also, if you want to get up before sunrise and eat breakfast to keep going, you%26#039;re like dead in the morning. Lol. But it%26#039;s all worth it in the evening.
Peace and lurve.|||I don%26#039;t do either one of them, but I would say Ramadan. Lent is giving up one thing and Ramadan is fasting all day, right?|||no don%26#039;t feel sorry for any muslim fasting , we are so much rewared for that and although we feel thirsty and hungry but we also feel so happy for doing that!
and BTW muslim%26#039;s fgasting was scientifically proven to be healthier to the body since it helps to get rid of all the toxins in the body and scientists recommended something like that for healthy bodies like fasting with out eating or drinking for some time that gives the body a chance to degrade unwanted substances and toxins in the body to get rid of.....etc but actually i don%26#039;t 100% remember!|||Both are Man%26quot;s effort to please God;
Rictual with no Power;|||I%26#039;m a girl and I think its great.|||Lent can be as strict as one wishes to make it, so it is possible for one person%26#039;s Lenten penance to be even harder than Ramadan.|||fasting for 24 hours is a rite in many religions, the older you are, the harder it is.|||wat is lent? sorry. im muslim n ive never heard of it. somone enlighten me plz.|||For me, both are equally hard, as both restricted you from certain freedom specially on something that you always cherish in your life and can%26#039;t live without it.
