Writers, please lend your thoughts...?

I%26#039;m working on a novel for young adults, and I want to see what other writers think of some of my character names. Naming my characters has always been hard for me...I want the names to be accesible but not too %26quot;mainstream%26quot; and to fit the character%26#039;s personality.

For my two protagonists, a boy and girl, I have Holly Lakefield and Adam Faylson.

Holly is a teenage girl (14-15) who is very sarcastic and witty, sort of a %26quot;smart a@#%26quot; kind of person, but also very afraid of showing her softer side, I guess you%26#039;d say.

Adam is your classic %26quot;mystery man%26quot; with a twist. He is quiet, very intuitive, sensitive. He is quite literally Holly%26#039;s opposite. (But they say opposites attract, hint hint).

What does everyone think of these names? If the feedback is helpful I might add some more, but these are my story%26#039;s two main character, though it is told mainly from Holly%26#039;s viewpoint, in 3rd person.

Writers, please lend your thoughts...?unsecured loan

Usually, as in my situation, the first name that comes to mind while creating the character sticks. Sometimes, however, I%26#039;d change the name of a character if the name and the personality matches someone I know.

I had written a novelette for children about an irascible snake called %26quot;Mean Ralph.%26quot; Ralph%26#039;s soon-to-be girlfriend was named Rhonda at first, but because she came from south of the Rio Grande, I changed her name to Rosa--a more fitting Mexican name.

Coffeekitten,

Thank you for selecting my reply and giving it a four-star rating. I wish you success in your novel. Remember, cut and trim. Then edit some more. Report It

|||I sometimes labor with this as well. I think the names sound great. Not too trendy, but not old-fashioned either. I have teenagers at home. I could picture them bringing home friends with these names.

Good luck!|||I like them...|||I like the names... I don%26#039;t like Adam%26#039;s last name though...

I keep thinking... %26#039;false%26#039; but... maybe it%26#039;s just because I%26#039;m messed up there in my head...|||I find the name Holly fitting to that description, how ever, Adam seems to be more of a Bold and Adventure type of name.

I suggest maybe going with a less prominent name, maybe Max, or Ben, something that is one syllable.

Hope that helps.

I have lent a "mate " over ?000.00 and he is avoiding & making excuses about paying m

I loaned a so called mate %26amp; his partner over ?700.00 to set themselves up in their new home.I agreed to help him as he had money coming from his mothers estate as she had just passed away. The money was taken off my credit card, and all this happened last April, he assured me that as soon as he had his money he would settle the debt. He had his money back in December and only paid me ?000.00 he still owes me over ?000.00. I have asked him for the rest of the money but he keeps coming up with excuses as to why he should not pay.

I can not stop paying my credit card company as they say the debt is mine as the card in my name.

I have had emails from him admitting that he owes me the money, and i have kept them should i need to get a solicitor involved.

Any ideas how to resolve this??

I have lent a %26quot;mate %26quot; over ?000.00 and he is avoiding %26amp; making excuses about paying me back?student loan consolidation

Keep the emails, I think you should go to citizens advice first of all, with the emails and your credit card statements, they will be able to give you some initial strategies for dealing with this man to see if you can settle this without legalities being involved which is best for all concerned if possible.

If however this does not work, they may advise you to begin legal procedure by first of all instructing your solicitor to send this man a letter stating the amount outstanding and that he needs to pay this debt to you to avoid legal proceedings. You have the emails to prove that he owes you this money so he can%26#039;t really effectively dispute it. After getting legal advice you might like to try taking this through the small claims court- http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/. Check out this link for more info. The only other thing you can do is learn from this experience and in future draw up a proper agreement between you and the person you are loaning money to, this way if there are disputes later they can be easily solved when your agreement is produced. After what this %26#039;mate%26#039; has done he really doesn%26#039;t deserve any leniency from you, afterall if he was a true friend he would never had disputed the repayment in the first place.

oh my god this sounds serious you really need to apply pressure to this man and oif neccessary take him to court to get the money back what on earth made you do this in the first place. OIr you may have to contaqct the police or citizens advice beureau good luck|||Sounds like you%26#039;re going to have to sue him for it. Warn him that you%26#039;re going to have to talk to a solicitor about bringing a case, see if that prompts him to do something. If it doesn%26#039;t, then go ahead and take him to court. There%26#039;s really no excuse for him not repaying him as promised, and it%26#039;ll cost you both in interest and in your credit score.|||Frst tell him you see no way forward but legal action if not repaid by the end of the month because it is causing you hardship.

If no joy start by getting a solicitor to write to him. This will show you really mean it.

After that I am afraid it is the courts.

Alternatively you may be able to make a small claim in the County Court. This is a DIY process and your local court or the Citizens Advice Bureau will give you full details.|||yes keep all the proof and take him to court, hope this be a lesson to you never loan money to friends, they dont remain friends, ive done the same good luck|||2 words for ya

BLOODY OATH!!!|||Get a solicitor involved and take him to court to recover the money. Charge him the interest you have paid also and end the friendship. He will possibly have equity in his house and should be able to raise the funds to pay you from this.|||you really need to get even an initial letter from a solicitor stating that he has read the emails and has proof that this money is owed to u and that he will be pursuing it thru the courts if he doesnt forward payment in a period of time.. and put that date of when it needs to be paid by on the letter.

make sure it is worded strongly enough and then u hopefully will only need to pay a solicitor for THAT particular letter and not need to employ them further....

it might suffice to scare the person into paying and not wanting court.

its worth a try and then if he doesnt pay i would say u will need to trail him thru the courts.

good luck.

x|||IF YOU LEND ME 5000.00 THOUSAND FOR SIX MONTHS ILL LET YOU KNOW|||Don%26#039;t forget to factor in the interest you have been paying.

If he really can%26#039;t afford it you could work out a budget plan so he pays you a particular amount each month.

He may not have had the money from his mothers estate - if he says this you could ask for his solicitors phone number to confirm when it is likely to be settled

If you talk to him about legal action explain he may incur extra legal costs (you%26#039;ll need to give him a set date for repayment)

Maybe talk to the citizens advice bureau for advice re lawyers.

You%26#039;re going to have to be tough Good luck

What a good friend you were to help him out!|||keep as much proof as you can warn him about legal proceedings and take him to the small claims court. remember its one thing lending a tenner as you can write that off so next time some one asks just say no. good luck in your quest|||Get a Solicitor and I can%26#039;t believe you didn%26#039;t when loaning the money. You might have ownership right to the property but a Solicitor should help you there. For example, if a lodger gave you and extra ?00 one month as a loan so you could pay the mortgage, the lodger gained equal ownership of the property. As I say, get it checked out because I may have been misinformed but I did hear someone say that yonks ago.|||Discuss the matter among all of your commonly known person. I believe some of those should aware about your lending help matter. You can also bring this matter to his relative level, if it is convenient. If you fail all these domestic approach then you will have to take the pain of lengthy legal procedure. Hope for the best.

Scamming lenders?

I%26#039;m pretty sure I know the answer to this but I%26#039;ll ask it anyway: Wilson Lending Inc., and some guy by the name Greg Wilson is offering to lend me $25,000 at 3% over 5 years. All I have to do is send him a $275 non-collateral loan fee? This is a scam right?

Scamming lenders?small business loans

Any %26quot;loan%26quot; that requires a fee up front is most likely a scam.

Scamming lenders? loan

Huge scam dude|||Awesome! Call Greg Wilson and tell him to take the $275 out of the $25,000 and mail you the $24,725 right away!|||Yup it is. Why would you have to send a fee to someone who is loaning YOU money? If they were legit, the could deduct any fee from the money they send to you.

And if they send you a check and request that you send some of it back to them, don%26#039;t do it - their check will bounce, and you%26#039;ll be out whatever you sent. This is another very common scam that%26#039;s going around.|||Ditto on all of the above. REAL lenders don%26#039;t ask for money upfront. Also, any low percentage like that, is definetely a scam.

Try a credit union for a decent rate.|||Well i would say it is a scam but test the man first. Please do not send him any money okay. Did you try prosper.com or even thinkcash.com. Just be careful when it comesto getting loans. Please check your e-mail from t ime to time to see if the man have contacted you again or even pressing you to complete the loan okay. Best of Luck to you.

Where can I get a small auto loan (under 7k) with reasonable rates?

Banks tend to not lend less than $7,500. for a car loan. The rates for a personal loan are ridiculous! (If you happen to be perfect they will do 8.99% - at a score of 656 I am not perfect)

Please don%26#039;t suggest Capital One - they also have this same policy about not lending for these rates!

In the dealerships they will give me a 9% rate (although they are making a kick-back there) I would like to come in with a loan.

Help!

Where can I get a small auto loan (under 7k) with reasonable rates?bank loan

Credit Unions are know for having the best loans and beat banks. First get the approval notice from your credit union and then go the dealership and try to negotiate the best rate you can with the dealership with telling them your rate. Once you get the rate you want, or if the dealership cannot meet your rate, they may say you can only use their loan before flipping it to your credit union. They way around this is to have the loaqn paperwork made out to your credit union and not to you. you will get the best rate.

Right now because of the Mortgage crisis, there is problems with issuing credit-it%26#039;s a very difficult time even for people with the best credit to get a great rate. The Feds are expected tpo reduce interests rates futher that will help you more

Will low and medium income families be able to qualify for home loans under this new bill?

November 14, 2007

H.R. 3915 Would Impose New Burdens and Limits on Moderate Income Borrowers

by Ronald D. Utt, Ph.D.

WebMemo #1703

The Manager%26#039;s Amendment to the Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act of 2007 (H.R. 3915) was reported out of the House Financial Services Committee earlier this month and is now before the full House for consideration. Originally crafted for the purpose of addressing the many flaws in the mortgage market that led to the subprime mortgage turmoil, the current bill would encourage lenders to limit their lending to only the very best credit risks. This would put individuals of moderate incomes, imperfect credit histories, and limited wealth at an even greater disadvantage, leading to a decline in the homeownership rate, now at record levels. Among the victims of this mandatory credit quality cleansing would be members of some ethnic minority groups whose current homeownership rates are today only slightly better than the homeownership rate for the nation as a whole in 1890.

Will low and medium income families be able to qualify for home loans under this new bill?fast loan

the law was to stop predatory sub prime lending. if your credit is good then your loan amount would depend on your income level. im not sure what your asking. If you have low income you will qualify for a loan you CAN afford to pay back. I think your asking if low income ppl will get some sort of %26quot;handout%26quot;. and the answer would be no! You can borrow what you can afford to pay back and thats it!

Will low and medium income families be able to qualify for home loans under this new bill? loan

What you do then is rent from a rich person. sub prime days are gone,,,,the boom is over,,,deal with it,,,,most Americans got plenty of money anyway...chow freepress|||For Shame ,for shame to the mortgage lenders who gave credit for housing with their creative APR financing to people who they knew were not able to afford it. That is why our economy is in a bind. It is the low cost housing that have all the foreclosures. The more expensive homes are still booming.

This bill is to PROTECT those sub prime buyers from getting caught up in the creative lending practices and purchasing homes they can not afford and having their credit ruined in the future.

No, this bill will make it harder to get a loan. You will have to have money down and make enough income to buy what you want.

A friend lends u their car, less than 300 miles, the engine blows, are you responsible for the cost?

Bad time for you, the answer it%26#039;s yes because you was driving the car and many things can happen during those 300 miles you drove the junk.

You can go to court but for that you need make a good investigation about the reason the motor blows.

First than anything you have to say to your friend you take in care of the car ( no option, you have to) Find a good mechanic and ask about what%26#039;s the reason the motor blows if the reason are more responsability of the owner he has to be your best witness to help you on court and fight you right.

Remember this, how much it%26#039;s the cost of your friend relation? was a bad friend? What happen If you are the person who share the car and your friend blow this one? You consider ok if your friend says it%26#039;s your problem and I don%26#039;t care? What you can expect from a friend you try to help? At least a nice attitude and responsability don%26#039;t you think so? (Just be on the shoe%26#039;s of the other person)

Finally if you are driven a car from someone else you know at the beginning if something happen on the car you have to pay this, that%26#039;s be responsible. Maybe next time you rent a car and put some money from your pocket to resolve your transportation problems, in that way you don%26#039;t put in risk a nice relation, remember; this friend was cool because try to help don%26#039;t you think so? Just be honest, pay and be a good friend not a ... you know what I mean.

Short answer Yes

But I would also look into why it blew

A friend lends u their car, less than 300 miles, the engine blows, are you responsible for the cost?

yes unless, you get your friend to say that they were driving the car, then it would be covered by warranty or insurance.|||if its something that you did to it that caused it to tear up, yes you are responsible for it,responsibility goes with the driver, but make sure it didn%26#039;t have no other problems before ever who borrowed it,that can be a tricky situation to be in,I%26#039;m glad its not me in it,good luck.|||If you were doing something unusual to the car, then yes. If not, then it is their responsibility. It could be due to their poor maintenance.|||Legally no but morally yes after all they loaned

you a new car to prowl around in. The warranty

will cover the repair but you should be grateful enough to offer to pay him something or get them a rental car. I know i would expect something from you.

The Fed is considering:

_barring lenders from penalizing subprime borrowers ?those with spotty credit or low incomes ?who pay their loans off early.

_forcing lenders to make sure that borrowers, especially subprime borrowers, set aside money to pay for taxes and insurance.

_restricting loans that do not require proof of a borrower%26#039;s income.

_examining lenders%26#039; failure, in some cases, to consider a borrower%26#039;s ability to repay a home loan.

_improving financial disclosure so people better understand the terms and conditions of their mortgages and get this information when it is most useful.

_curtailing abuses in mortgage advertising.

%26quot;We have an obligation to prevent fraud and abusive lending,%26quot; the Fed chairman, Ben Bernanke, said earlier this year. %26quot;At the same time, we must tread carefully so as not to suppress responsible lending or eliminate refinancing opportunities for subprime borrowers.%26#039;

I grew up here:

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/02/busine...

My perspective...

It was a working class suburb. It was a place where people lived on their way up...middle class married families, small business owners and factory workers.

After the manufacturing sector in Cleveland went down a lot of people lost their jobs. A lot of people got laid off. A lot of American businesses closed. Call center jobs went to India. Manufacturing jobs went to China. Some people refinanced to survive and readjust. Some people did it desperately and in a hurry. 5 years later the ARM strangles them.

One out of three houses in my hometown is being foreclosed.

Do you think any of these things mentioned here is a true real major contributor to foreclosure crisis?

loan

The biggest problem was the increase in payments to creditors that the feds decided to inact.|||People are struggling because they did not think things through when getting loans. ARMS are death traps. You can never count on having the money to pay higher rates. Always go for a fixed rate.|||The %26quot;Crisis%26quot; is being overblown for political reasons.

People are responsible for their actions. If they take on a mortgage they can%26#039;t afford it%26#039;s their problem, not mine. The holders of the mortgages should bear the cost of the failed loans. Why should we subsidize people so they can stay in homes they can%26#039;t afford? Why should we bail out the lenders who made these loans?|||most of it goes back to Liberals in government forcing lending institutions to give mortgages to unsuitable people who forced them to give them a loan by using the race card....%26#039;they wont give me a house because I%26#039;m black%26quot;...its coming home to roost on the Dem table and they are trying to pass the buck|||A lot of what you say would help but this will not stop peoples greed. While the housing market was good a lot of people bought over priced houses to live in or rent out not caring about the ARM mortgage and the consequence it held. Feeling sure they could flip them in a year or so and make some big bucks. Now that the housing balloon has popped and they are stuck with over priced house and their loan rates have gone up. So they lost.|||Yea well...Where were the dickheads when all this was occurring in full swing? It%26#039;s time to send the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK to packing. They%26#039;re so full of ****. Would you lend a friend $800?

money being no issue, just a little concern for where they are %26#039;at%26#039; presently...

Would you lend a friend $800?loan company

Never lend money to family or friends. Give it as a gift, with no expectation of being repaid. If money really is %26quot;no issue%26quot; for you, then the difference between a gift and a loan should bother you.

I%26#039;d give the money, and tell the person to %26quot;pay it forward%26quot; and someday do a huge favor for someone else in need.

Would you lend a friend $800?

loan

depends on what they would use it for|||if money is no issue the question is moot.|||Lending money to a friend is never a good idea. Always look at it this way -- consider it a gift, if it gets repaid, great. But more often than not, you will lose a friend if you really expect your money back.|||No, I let my %26quot;best%26quot; friend borrow quite a bit of money years ago, got $80.00 about a month after the initial lending occured and haven%26#039;t seen a dime since. Good thing I don%26#039;t care about money.......|||Nope -- too many not so good experiances with people taking thier time to pay you back and then the freindship gets strained, etc, etc. In my opinion, if they don%26#039;t have the credit or can%26#039;t get it from thier family -- there is a reason.|||no, sorry.

it is the quickest way to lose a friendship

but if youdecide to do it, get it in writing and notarized that they will pay you back, how much interest, when repayment begins, how often they make payments, etc and always give or get a receipt

just in case you have to take them to small claims court later on|||give the money, never borrow to friends or family.|||Depends on how good Friend they where, how long I had known them, how much I trusted them, what the money would be used for, etc.|||what do you mean where they are at? and its usually not a very good idea lending large amounts of money to friends...it can ruin relationships..depends on what they are using it for, whether they will return it, whether you are being used, etc|||Well, would it be a %26#039;gift%26#039; or a %26#039;loan%26#039;? This comes in to play in the event that you ever plan to ask your friend for the money back (I%26#039;ve seen too many episodes of The People%26#039;s Court). If it is a gift, and money is no object, then offer it up to your friend. Tell your friend that it%26#039;s a gift and that you do not expect to be paid back... with either money or favors. Let you friend know that you are concerned for their well being and that you want to help them out.|||well it depends because, well do you have it? is the Friends a good Friend or a not so good Friend it all depends on that friend.|||Loaning a friend $800.00 is simply an invitation to destroy your friendship over $800.00.

No I would not!|||I wouldn%26#039;t lend my sister $500 when I was worried if she would spend it on drugs. She was angry at me for it, but I would have felt worse if I had known I was contributing to her habit.|||Depend on how much money I have. If I’m a millionaire yes, if not then no. I%26#039;ll simply tell him or her that I just paid some bills and I am running very short on my reserves and if I do I’ll have placed myself in a very bad situation.|||Only if they are really close. And they reeeaaaly needed the money.|||while I concur many other answers already given -

I would say -

1. If you do lend to a friend - do not expect it back -

and that will not hurt your friendship, just in case.

If you do get it back it will strengthen the friendship further.

OR

2. Advise your friend to seek money from

This a good place to seek money from someone else.

Hope this helps.

-N|||Not if I WANTED TO KEEP MY FRIEND, I%26#039;d give her/him the money but not as a loan and if I couldn%26#039;t afford all of it, I%26#039;d give her/him what I could. It is very hard to say no, when asked, but I had a bad experience once, my husband and I co-signed a loan for a car with the idea that she would make 6 payments on time to establish credit, and she just p-----d that money away, and we were harassed for payment. Finally I got angry and told her that I would take the car and make the payment balance, she paid it in full, and our relationship went south.|||never loan more than you can afford to giveaway. make your friend sign a promisory note with the expected pay back date, never use as soon as he can.|||can you get any collateral from them - something they teasure that you can hold onto for security - get the loan in writing also with repayment terms|||Not without having a legal contract of repayment.|||Probably not unless I got a promissary note. My friends are not beggars though.|||If you can give it as a gift to help them help themselves, then I would do it. If you have concerns about either losing the money or how they would use it, I would not give them the money.

You might suggest they go to prosper and you can bid on their loan at a high interest rate.|||If you can afford to give it to them, do so (once); otherwise say no -- as others have said, loaning friends and family money is one of the quickest ways to end a perfectly good friendship.

Reading between the lines and assuming you have not given this person money already, I suggest that you give the money to them, but tell them something like, %26quot;I am happy to help you out this once, because I can. Let’s just make this a friendly agreement. I won%26#039;t ask you about it again and you repay me when you are back on your feet again.%26quot;

The tough part is that the jerks and users will not only %26quot;forget%26quot; to repay you but they will ask you for more money in a relatively short period of time. That is, unfortunately, when you not only have to say %26quot;no%26quot; but %26quot;goodbye%26quot; as well.

People who really care for and respect you will likely die before they ask you for another penny...and they will try to pay you back as soon as they can...in this case, set the money aside and give it to them outright as a gift for their birthday or Christmas and tell them the rest of the debt is forgiven in full.

This will answer both of your questions.|||JUST AS LONG AS THEY AREN%26#039;T ADDICTED TO DRUGS,SHOPPING , OR IN DEBT.

Are there any bad experiences with Prosper?

Has anyone had any bad experiences with the online lending company Prosper Lending? I have read all the praises and accollades that they have received but I need to hear about the problems, if there are any.

Are there any bad experiences with Prosper?commericial loan

I%26#039;m looking at it too.

It%26#039;s not a bad thing to take business from a high priced lender if you are willing to accept less...but there is a valid reason those lenders were charging so much.

Pay close attention to the their portfolio plans and the information on the collection agency should an underlying borrower default--they give historical information on the fact that borrowers WILL default just like they would with a bank.

Many of the borrowers are in over their head with debt to income ratios of 50-60-70% or more! Yes, shifting 30% credit cards to 20% will help, but if they can%26#039;t pay the principal, they will stiff Prosper as well. Prosper states that if they default, it goes to collections and you will get a share of whatever money is recovered.

I haven%26#039;t figured out yet how long loans are for. If a typical loan is, say, 5 years, it will be a long time before you get all of your principal back. If you mentally treat it as 10% interest, even if 20% is showing up in your account (you have to pay taxes on the 20%) you won%26#039;t feel so bad if someone defaults (the defaulted principal is a capital loss on your tax return)...which is why Prosper recommends doing $50 loans per person to spread your risk around as much as possible. This sure beats being an owner of securitized subprime loans.

I suspect credit problems will be worse next year and defaults will be higher. People who used to refinance their homes to pull out equity and pay off their credit cards can%26#039;t do it as easily now.

And some of the stories are the kind you%26#039;ll shake your head at. %26quot;Hi, I%26#039;m a great borrower (as shown by their AA credit rating). I want to borrow money to buy a car before I go back to school.%26quot; Huh? You want to borrow a lot of money, quit your job and have no income? Riiiiight.

And some of these folks have 30 lines of credit open and most of them are maxed out. I have a whopping 2 credit cards and pay them every month.

The plus side? There%26#039;s less risk than lending to some of my relatives. My savings account only pays 2% and my very safe investments have been paying 5%. Lending $1,000 or $2,000 and averaging 10% (medium risk) would be an extra $100 for me and might make a difference on an AA/A/B/C grade borrower being able to get ahead.

I have been a small lender with Prosper since April of 2007. I have lended about $125 to ten separate loans. I have been paid every month since May. Each payment has part of my principal and interest. I consider Prosper as an on-line marketplace dealing with money. Prosper is also known as the eBay for money. Personally, I look for borrowers who have at least a B credit grade or better, no delinquencies or bankruptcies in the past, home ownership verified and a bank account verified. I like to fund business loans and try to get the request at least at 15% interest. Some of the reasons why certain loans do not happen is because: too many expenses listed, request reasons are not sufficient, too many delinquencies. Personally, I stay away from Personal Loans, Home Improvement Loans, Real Estate Buying, and Debt Consolidation. Prosper has been in the news many times and published in several magazines such as Newsweek and Money. I get on-line statements every month from Prosper and yes I will be claiming my interest on my taxes. I am quite pleased with Prosper. I just read v b%26#039;s answer and I would like to add the following. Borrowers can request up to 25k (the max) and have three years (max) to pay it back.

How much will a bank lend for a mortgage which includes both residential and letting?

We have been preapproved for a certain amount for our own purposes. Will the bank lend us more if we buy an entire building that has both a flat to let and commercial premises. What is the best bank/financial institute to ask? What other things must we consider in buying this type of building

We are in the UK.

How much will a bank lend for a mortgage which includes both residential and letting? loan

not to sure, best thing you can do is go back to your mortgage advisor and ask|||Why not try making enquiries at a bank, where they should provide you with all the information necessary|||it realy just depends on the mortgage lender shop around and find out fraid thats the only way to know for sure

good luck|||i work for a mortgage advisor

if u wish u can email me. (gayanck@yahoo.co.uk)

Our company based in south east London|||difficult to say, best thing to do is to shop around.|||i would ask a motgage advisor from the bank/building society who has preapproved your application|||As stated in other answers best to speak to your lender/financial adviser. What the money houses will be looking for though is a good prospect of tenants and/or current leases that are attributed to the building. IE if the commercial part already has a tenant on a 15 year lease then the banks would take that into consideration on the amount to be lent against the building. as you know banks only like to lend on a safe bet. any uncertainty or doubt will cost you more in both interest and deposits. The main question to be asking if there are no tenants, is how easy will this be to let. if you think that you will not be able to rent quickly and for profit then don%26#039;t buy on impulse. only take this option if you see a long term future for the area or other development opportunities within the structure and you have enough cash to cover the mortgage shortfall without tenants. speak to local estate agents/surveyors to asses the rental value and likely hood of finding tenants with ease and speed.

Foods to eat during Catholic Lent?

I need a long list of foods and snacks I could eat during lent. This is my first time REALLY TRULY attempting the whole 40 days, and in the past I couldnt finish my goal because I ran out of foods to eat. sounds horrible, doesnt it? but I am dedicated to it this year, and I would like to know all the things I can eat. I would appreciate it! thanks!

The only requirement for Lent typically involves abstaining from meat on Ash Wednesday and every Friday, and partial fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, limiting yourself to only one standard size meal, and up to two smaller %26quot;snacks%26quot; throughout the day, as necessary to avoid illness.

You may then choose to add whatever you like to this basic regimen.

This may also vary somewhat by diocese, according to the guidance of your bishop.

You should have received a copy of the official Lenten regulations from your church this past week.

If not, stop by and request a copy.

Also, Sunday remains a feast day, even during Lent. No fasting or abstinance is required on Sunday, the Lord%26#039;s Day.

On Sundays, you can eat whatever you choose.

You can eat anything you want except meat on Friday.

If you really want to observe Lent you can pick a day each week to fast. Go on line and find out some of the rules for fasting.

No meats on wednesday %26amp; fridays during lent.

No pork at all throughout the entire 40 days.

For the hardcore catholics, there%26#039;s fasting on fridays during lent. And there%26#039;s definitely no work, party or drinking on fridays (in other word, OBSERVE THE SABBATH)

Lent is not really about food, though. It%26#039;s about sacrifising something important to you as a show of faith and loyalty to god. It%26#039;s a time of prayer and spiritual awareness.

God bless.|||Eat what you want.

Coptic Catholics don%26#039;t eat or drink between sunrise and sunset, so they get up early for a nice breakfast, and then have a nice dinner.

I%26#039;m from Ukrainian Catholic tradition, and the %26quot;eat no meat%26quot; during Wednesday and Friday all year round except during compact weeks was adhered to. If you accidentally forgot what day it was, all you had to do was say an %26quot;Our Father%26quot; and %26quot;Hail Mary%26quot; The last day of Lent was the most strict, as is Christmas Eve, where no dairy or meat products were allowed.

However, fish is okay, use margarine instead of butter, (no mayo if it%26#039;s made with eggs), any kind of fruit or vegetable. A whole protein can be made from a combination of grains. Corn and rice for example, and of course, bean curd is a whole protein on its own. So are any type of nuts.

Alcohol is not acceptable during Lent, and my dad used to quit smoking as well. No movies and more prayers, thank you very much. Not sure I%26#039;ve helped any.

%26quot;Lent%26quot; is in the bible. John the Baptist spent so many days in the desert, and Jesus himself, before He began his public ministry, went into the wilderness for 40 days. If rumour be true, those two ate bugs. (Locusts and wild honey) But they WERE boys. And there were 40 days before the Ascension of Christ after His resurrection.

True Christians live by not only what Jesus said, but also by the example He showed us.|||Catholic here:

The traditional venue is to abstain from meat on Fridays. Most of us today (especially in Louisiana, where I live) usually replace any kind of meat portion with seafood, and we call this fasting. This practice actually came from a time when eating beef was a luxury, so to go without it was a big deal. Today we can eat steak 7 days a week, or find other meals to easily replace it. If you want to do this right, I suggest limiting yourself to one or two meals on Fridays. No snacks in between, provided your health permits. You should feel hungry most of the day.

Go to EWTN.com, Catholic Answers.com, and other Catholic websites for the basic rules and regs.

God bless you, and especially so during this wonderfully holy time of year.|||Lent isn%26#039;t in the bible.

Ok, we see a lot of talk about the 40 years that the Jews wandered in the desert, the 40 days Jesus was in the wilderness, ect.

But WHERE ARE THE SCFRIPTURAL REFERENCES saying that we should know anything more about these events, then they happened, or practice the same things, (such as not eating meat, giving up things for the time period of Lent), ect?

There is NOTHING in Scripture that even remotely SUGGESTS that we should do ANY of these things!

Just a bunch of %26quot;supposed%26quot; theologians, saying that we DO have to do these.

What I see here, is that catholics are commanded to do these things, simply as %26quot;brownie points%26quot;, in order to get in good with God!

That falls under the catagory of what in Scripture is called WORKS.

What does the Bible say about works?

Is giving up anything going to matter to God?

Is NOT eating meat on a specific day, going to matter to God?

Is celebrating a NON-SCRIPTURALy supported time period, going to matter to God?

It has been soooooooo sooooooooo long since I believed in celebrating such a season.|||It is a time of atonement and forgiveness|||It%26#039;s a fishmonger conspiracy.|||Lent for us is a time for reflection, repentance and renewal. Abstaining from meat is just like fasting. You give up something as a sign of thanksgiving for the Lord%26#039;s sacrifice. That is how I look at it personally.

Peace and every blessing!|||The original purpose of the pre-Pascha fast (now known as Great Lent) was the fasting of catechumens who were being prepared for baptism and entry into the Church. However, it quickly became a time for those who were already Christian to prepare for the feast of the Resurrection of Christ. It is the living symbol of man%26#039;s entire life which is to be fulfilled in his own resurrection from the dead with Christ. It is a time of renewed devotion: of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It is a time of repentance, a real renewal of minds, hearts and deeds in conformity with Christ and his teachings. It is the time, most of all, of return to the great commandments of loving God and neighbors.

During Great Lent we follow the example set by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who fasted on our behalf forty days and forty nights (Matt. 4: 2). Also during Holy Week, which comes after the 40 days, we live the Passion of Christ day by day and hour by hour. Because of the significance and holiness of Great Lent, the Church designated a week of preparation to precede the 40 days. The Church is teaching us to prepare for Great Lent in a spiritual manner. We fast to prepare ourselves for the 40 holy days. In fact, the preparatory week is not the only fast which the Church designated to get us ready for Great Lent and Holy Week. Two weeks prior to Great Lent there is Jonah’s Fast, also known as Nineveh’s Fast. It is a short fast, only three days, and it is a fast of repentance. During this fast, we live with Jonah his fasting and repentance in the whale’s belly. We also live with the Ninevites their fasting and repentance. Just as the fasting accompanied by repentance saved Jonah and the Ninevites from perdition, also our fasting accompanied by repentance will save us from eternal destruction and death due to sin.

Great Lent is an Apostolic Fast as mentioned in the Didskalia (chapter 18) the following: %26quot;Great Lent should be honored before Holy Week. It starts on the Monday following the Saturday and is completed on the Friday preceding Holy Week. After it, you must pay great attention to Holy Week and fast it with fear and piety.%26quot; In Canon 69 from the Canons of our Fathers the Apostles, the following is mentioned: %26quot;Any bishop, priest, deacon, reader, or chanter who does not fast Great Lent or Wednesdays and Fridays shall be excommunicated, unless he has a physical ailment. As for a lay person, he shall be excluded.%26quot;|||Its a catholic thing (Lutheran, Anglicans, and its offspring). Its not so much %26quot;lent%26quot; as is %26quot;what%26quot; comes before lent. Lent is the ceremonial %26quot;giving up%26quot; of a fleshly (sinful) desire. It is a time of repentance before the resurrection of Christ. It has become a %26quot;token%26quot; ceremony, it really does not mean much at all. It was, at one time, a serious time of reflection and remorse over the sins we have committed. Now just another worthless ritual.

Now, %26quot;what%26quot; comes before lent? Depending on where you live- Mardi Gras, Carnival, Holiday, and so on. Some cultures are more involved than others. It is a time of pure pagan revelry. People get drunk, take drugs , get involved in orgies, the most immoral bizarre behavior you can imagine. Why??? Because the last day of this sinful indulgence, Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday, is the the day before Ash Wednesday-the beginning of Lent. So-let it all hang out, do the most vile sins you can think of because tomorrow we repent.

How sick-and they call it Christian!

Makes you wonder don%26#039;t it?|||Quadragesima or Lent is a time of abstinence, sacrifice and a Christian counterversion of the Islamic Ramadan. It is a reflection of Iesvs Khristos in the desert for 40 nights and days stated in the new testament. It is a 40 day preparation for the crucifixion and ressurection of Jesus.

The red meat we%26#039;re asked not to eat: beef, pork, venison, mutton, poultry etc.

You can have all the fish/seafood you want, though. This is one reason why the fast was never much of a penance where I grew up in SW Louisiana, about 20 miles from the Gulf of Mexico as the crow flies. We%26#039;d %26quot;give up%26quot; the red meats, but then we would have these feasts on all the seafood delacacies we wanted: shrimp, crab, catfish, scallops, oysters, crawfish. It was hard, but we somehow managed to choke all that delicious seafood down during lent. :)|||Usually the eggs you use to eat would have never become living creatures!|||Plants are %26quot;living creatures%26quot; too. On Fridays, you are not supposed to eat beef, pork, or chicken, but you can eat fish and seafood (that%26#039;s why they have all those fish frys at churches in lent).

Refraining from meat on Friday in commemoration of Christ%26#039;s passion and death. The custom was prevalent among Christians from the first century. It was extended to Saturday in the West at an early date. Until the apostolic constitution of Paul VI in 1966, all Fridays were obligatory days of abstinence for the whole Church, with the exception of certain territories that were exempt from the obligation. Since 1966, however, obligatory abstinence for the universal Church applies only to Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent. To the law of abstinence are bound all who have completed their fourteenth year of age. The law of abstinence forbids the use of meat, but not of eggs, the products of milk, or condiments made of animal fat. The abolition of Friday abstinence is a common misapprehension. Friday abstinence was not abolished; rather the faithful now have a choice either to abstain from meat or perform some other kind of penance on Fridays. According to the Church%26#039;s law, the %26quot;substantial observance%26quot; of Fridays as days of penance, whether by abstinence or in other ways, %26quot;is a grave obligation%26quot; (Paenitemini, Norm II, 2).|||Lent is what you get when you baptize (by sprinkling) %26quot;weeping for Tammuz%26quot;. Fellow Catholics: please lend me some advice?

I%26#039;ve been feeling really stressed out and depressed lately due to financial worries, my family moving away and having fallen for a guy who does not return my feelings. I know that God is always there for me and that He loves me but sometimes I have trouble reaching out to Him. So, my fellow Catholics, what are some prayers, books, music, scriptural passages, etc. that comfort and strengthen you? I go to Mass every week which really helps but due to my work schedule am unable to go on the weekdays. Thanks so much!

That scares them a lot so they really say nasty things about the course.

Love and blessings Don|||The Rosary and the Bible of course. %26quot; Introduction to the Devout Life%26quot; by St. Francis de Sales, this is a book written for the laity and has some really good insights on living the Christian life in the midst of the world. I find having a plan helps me destress. It lets you feel like you have more control over things, no matter how out of control the situation is. Come up with a plan for handling the various issues you are facing in life.

In addition to that, I%26#039;ve found that meditation is great. Stopping and really thinking about everything that%26#039;s going on, analyzing it, then being able to put it down and retreat into a concentrated calm, bringing the whirling cyclone of life to a still point helps me. I%26#039;m sure there are even religiously inspired guided meditations out there. Try iTunes, Audible.com, or just google it.

Finally, keep your chin up. It%26#039;s just a temporary phase which will pass and soon you%26#039;ll be able to look back and smile, knowing you learned some valuable lessons, but glad it%26#039;s over.

And just Pray, tell God that you know that he has a plan for you, and trust in him. It can be hard, but also take time to listen. Does your Parish have addoration? If so, sign up for an hour, ours goes 24 hours, so you can sign up for an hour per week just about any time that is convient.

Holy week is coming up, we are in Lent now, Try to make the Easter Vigil Mass, it is very refereshing!

Be thankfull that you are not committed to a man that does not love and respect you! That can be a GREAT blessing, don%26#039;t look at that loss as negative, but a positive. You need to find the person that will love and respect you for ever. He is out there and is worth waiting for.

Money? We all have money problems, but just simplify your life and get on top of your bills. pay off the credit cards and live a simpler life. It is worth it, there is no peace in being in debit over buying all of the frivilous stuff that society tells us we need to be happy.

Family, that is tough having them move away, just follow your heart, endavor to keep in touch with them daily, e-mail whatever you can do.

Get involved with a group in the Church that meets when you are available, or just volunteer some time to help at the Parish, giving of your time and tallents can make your life much more clearer. As far as reading, just pick up the New Testament, or take a look through your parish library, see what jumps out at you!

Good luck and may God Bless you and your family!

Peace!|||Maybe you can try to get to Stations of the Cross on Fridays during this Lenten season. I think it will help you understand the meaning of carrying the Cross. God Bless...|||God helps those that help themselves. Get your life in order, don%26#039;t look for God or prayer to solve your problems, but more as an adjunct to solving your problems. You need to take positive action.|||I would suggest you sit down for fifteen minutes each night.

Relax your entire body and try to clear your mind of worries.

Begin your prayers but instead of just praying for help, think about how you can actively change things and focus on what you will do to fix things and pray around help with those specific tasks.

For instance, instead of %26quot;help me with my financial worries%26quot;, pray for %26quot;help me sit down tomorrow and draw up a budget to stick to, or help me look at my meal planning and decide how to streamline our menu to save money by batch cooking or using left overs, or help me with finding time to clip coupons and look for sales (or insert whatever solution addresses your financial problem).

Same with the moving: instead of help moving focus and pray on your specific actions like what you can do to keep in touch with your family. And the guy, you can focus on two things you can do that next day to start fresh looking for a new man and getting over the old one ie: I ask you for strength to open an e-harmony accout and check it once a week or I ask you to remind me how special I am and that I do not need to let his failure to recognize that bring me down.

I find that often folks pray for general problems but don%26#039;t focus on solutions. Perhaps if you sit down, take each %26quot;problem%26quot;, compose some active solutions and then pray for assistance with your positive actions to resolve them....I am positive that will help you!|||I find that praying the Rosary calms me during times of stress. Even if you find it hard to concentrate on the Mysteries, just holding a Rosary in your hand and reminding yourself that God loves you is often enough to drop the stress level quite a few notches. If all you have time to do is pray is a decade at a time, that%26#039;s fine, too.

And here are a couple of my favorite Scriptures for those times when I feel like I can%26#039;t go another step:

Phillipians 4:13 %26quot;I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.%26quot;

Isaiah 40:31 %26quot;But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.%26quot;

Peace of Christ to you!|||The Holy Rosary is an extremely powerful prayer when prayed from the heart, when each Hail Mary is prayed with love and childlike simplicity. (Many will testify to this--St. John Vianney, St. Padre Pio, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, etc.)

Mary is our most powerful intercessor. Do not people ask their living friends and relatives to pray for them? How much more powerful, then, is the intercession of God%26#039;s own Mother, who loved Him perfectly during her life on earth and to whom He remains obedient in heaven. Mary knows how to pray to God more effectively than you or I ever could.

When prayers are said without love, they mean little in the Eyes of God. But each prayer said with love is pleasing to the Lord, for He has said %26quot;Ask, and you shall receive,%26quot; and %26quot;the more you ask, the more you shall receive.%26quot;

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:

1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against Hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.

9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit high degree of glory in Heaven.

11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.

14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.

15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

If it were me, I would look up the post-paschal homilies of St. John Chrysostom on ccel.org and just recite the one that seems the most appropriate.|||In the Catholic Church it is still a requirement that every Friday, even after Lent, if one does not abstain from meat we are still required to do some sort of Penance so you are very right in teaching this so good luck with that.|||In the Baptist Church, we do not make a big issue of Lent. Lent is not a Biblical practice, but one I believe that originated with the Greek Orthodox Church and recognizes the 40 days that led up to Jesus Crucifixion. Jesus fasted during this time and was even tempted by the Devil.

Our Church believes that we should be in a constant state of dependence on Jesus Love and the Holy spirit. We also are engaged in fasting at some time or another, but Jesus did not ask us to fast during Lent. I suppose that those who do engage in fasting because Jesus did, are also baptized by immersion in water, since Jesus was baptized that way. I think that any act that is done is Jesus name and for the purpose of a closer relationship with Him is commendable.

You really cant do anything, the ball is in her court but it sounds as though she is keeping you on the sidelines just in case it doesn%26#039;t work out with the other guy. If it doesn%26#039;t work out with the other guy, will you be OK with the fact that she will only chose you as a second option? If she was really feeling this strongly about you, there would be no question, she would leave the other guy and be with you. Saying that she could see you being the father of her kids is a big call, and you would think that if she really was that serious about you that she would have no problems devoting herself to you. Sounds like this girl is keeping her options open just in case. I suggest that you tell her that if she really does feel this strongly about you, she has to make the decision to be with you. I can understand where she is coming from, being confused when she has feelings for 2 people, but theses are VERY strong feelings she is expressing about you, so there should be no question.

Writers/authors please lend me your attention?

I chose writing as a career path. Do you have any advice for me? I will cherish these words forever!

Writers/authors please lend me your attention?debt consolidation

That%26#039;s an incredibly broad field! Do you have any ideas as to what you want to do within writing? Do you want to be a freelancer? An editor? A novelist? A poet? A copywriter? A technical writer?

First, keep in mind that less than 5% of writers can make a living on writing alone. That means that more than 95% need to have a day job to support themselves!

There are TONS of books on writing! Most bookstores have at least several shelves in the reference section packed with them. I have a top ten list here:

http://www.squidoo.com/booksonbooks

If you are looking into freelance writing, I just read %26quot;Make a Real Living as a Freelance Writer%26quot; by Jenna Glatzer (a prolific freelancer). It%26#039;s probably the best book I%26#039;ve ever come across about the business side of freelancing. Highly recommended.

I would recommend buying a notebook strictly for story ideas. Just a cheap spiral bound one is fine! I like having something that I can take with me or leave by my bed (I tend to have great ideas when I can%26#039;t sleep). When inspiration strikes, I write down some notes on the plot and characters. Personally, I limit myself to writing a page for each idea but length doesn%26#039;t really matter.

Practice whenever you can. Writing is about dedication and persistance--- so many people have the first 10 pages of a novel written somewhere but never complete it! It%26#039;s hard work, but very rewarding.

Observe the people around you. Writers should be great people-watchers. But consciously listening and watching the people you interact with, you will find that the characters you write are more realistic. The speech patterns you hear in the world can bring quite a bit of depth to a character.

Read. A lot. Read in the genre(s) you want to write, and read things that are completely unrelated.

Have you ever heard of NaNoWriMo? It stands for National Novel Writing Month. It isn%26#039;t until November, but you can check out the site and have them email you a reminder. Basically, the goal is to write a 50,000 word manuscript over the course of 30 days. Some write serious ones, some are just silly, but it%26#039;s a lot of fun and good motivation to get to work!

Expect rejection. Even the most popular and famous books were rejected numerous times before they were published. Gone With the Wind racked up 38 rejections before it was accepted! Develop a thick skin now because getting published is HARD!

Edited to add:

Let%26#039;s do a little math. A first novel most likely isn%26#039;t going to get an advance of more than about $10,000 BEFORE taxes. Once you take out taxes, your agents cut, what you paid for editing, and any you want to use for advertising, you%26#039;d be lucky to have a month%26#039;s rent left. You may be confident you can get far, but so are the thousands of other people querying their novels right now. Don%26#039;t give up writing, but get a day job.

Also, Taja-- it%26#039;s not that only 5% of writers make it. It%26#039;s that only 5% of writers get paid enough to live on it. Many of the rest are writing and publishing great stuff, they just need help to pay the bills from a day job.

Writers/authors please lend me your attention?

So did I! I%26#039;m not experienced at all, though, so my only words to you: %26quot;Good luck! Never give up!%26quot;

Will you please answer my question now? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...|||Well, firstly, write only when you have the inspiration. Because if you force yourself, then believe me-the writing would seem stale, trite, devoid of emotion, and most of all, uninteresting. So, anytime you get ideas, write them down in a notebook. And do writing prompts on the Internet(just search writing prompts on google and it will come up) in order to strengthen your skills.

Secondly, whether you%26#039;re an aspiring poet or novelist, get ready to edit excessively. No one-no matter how talented in writing they seem to be- will not write a perfect first draft. Also, Be open to constructive criticism also because besides a writer%26#039;s inspiration, constructive criticism are one of the most important tools of a writer, and definitely enables a writer to improve.

Thirdly, definitely stick to your dreams of being a writer, but have an extra job you might enjoy. Because only 5% of writers only make it on the income alone from being an author, so just get a day job just in case so you can survive and have shelter. However, there are many other fields invovling writing, so maybe you should have a day job that involves writing, such as a journalist?

However, just because only 5% would probably make it as an author, doesn%26#039;t mean you%26#039;ll never will. If you stay optimistic and work hard enough, then I%26#039;m sure that I will see your name on a bestselling book one day.

So lastly, please expect rejection- All of the prominent writers you know now has experienced it a lot of times. However, never give up on writing. Writing is a very important and beautiful art that always should live on, and eventhough it could be quite arduous at times, it%26#039;s satisfying in general.

Good luck!

Edit:second answerer, I know that. Only 5% of writers could be supported on income alone as a author. But writing is a very broad field and there are a lot of careers involving writing! Writers could still get published-eventhough like I said in my previous paragraphs, you would need a day job to survive.

Thanks for pointing that out though.

Second edit: Budding Author is right. Please be a writer for the passion of it- not for the potential money. Not to be negative, but if you%26#039;re planning to be a author, then life is not going to be easy.|||You will cherish these words forever?

I dont think so!

I was in a pub one evening, standing at the bar, deep in thought, I had just started to write a book a few weeks earlier, not as a career but just stuff I needed to get off my chest.

A feller came up to the bar and noticed a long lost friend also standing at the bar, there was a lot of back slapping and greetings going on, then one asked the other what he was doing for a living, his friend replied that he was an author!

The other guy just looked at him and said, %26quot;OK but what are you doing for a living?%26quot;

That just about sums it up, you dont write to make money, very few can make money out of it.

I went through the usual things in life, school , college , apprenticeship and loads of work experience, travelled all over the world working on contract jobs.

Then after about a life time , I had enough, I was on great money but really sick of all the travel, I needed to settle down.

I saw an ad%26#039; in my local home newspaper, %26quot;Technical Author required%26quot; I hadnt got a clue what a tech author was, I went to the interview and sailed through it, I spent the last 10 years of my working life doing that job, still on contract but all at home in the UK.

Money was better than I ever earned, money for old rope!

Now you have %26#039;chosen%26#039; to take up writing as a career.

Sorry to burst your bubble but if you are writing novels etc your chances of making a living out of it are about zero.

As a hobby and because its something you enjoy doing , then fair enough, but you will need a %26#039;proper job%26#039; to feed your self on.

Not much in the way of encouragement there, but life isnt that easy!

However good luck, I hope you prove me wrong.
